Why 90 days
Less does not allow building a visual identity, testing messages, or gathering enough data to judge.
Month one measures consistency, month two measures which message works, month three measures whether the account actually brings enquiries.
Month one: build
The goal is not posting, but having something worth posting consistently. This month produces:
- A visual identity for content: colours, type, grid, templates.
- An approved 30-day publishing calendar.
- Account setup: image, bio, links, WhatsApp number.
- A reply script for recurring messages.
- Messages connected to a follow-up system (or at least a tracking sheet).
Month two: test
Test three content types equally: educational (how to choose), proof (project/result), and direct offer (unit/price/offer).
The goal is not “which type gets likes” but “which brings enquiries”. You may find education brings follows while offers bring enquiries — both have a role.
| Content type | Its job | What it measures |
|---|---|---|
| Educational | Builds trust and reach | Saves and shares |
| Proof | Reduces risk | Messages and enquiries |
| Direct offer | Converts now | WhatsApp clicks and requests |
Month three: harvest
Stop what failed without sentiment, double down on what worked, and run small campaigns on the best organic content.
Content that brought organic enquiries is the best ad creative you can use — because it is already tested.
The 12-week calendar
| Week | Main task |
|---|---|
| 1 | Identity, templates, account setup |
| 2 | 30-day calendar + first content bank |
| 3 | Start consistent publishing |
| 4 | First review: consistency and replies |
| 5–6 | Test the three content types |
| 7 | Analysis: which type brought enquiries |
| 8 | Reallocate effort to what works |
| 9–10 | Small campaigns on best content |
| 11 | Improve messaging and reply speed |
| 12 | 90-day report and next-quarter plan |
The metrics that matter
| Metric | Why | Target |
|---|---|---|
| Enquiries from the account | The real result | Rising monthly |
| Share answered within an hour | Response speed | Above 90% |
| Top 3 posts by enquiry | Knowing what works | Reused in ads |
| Cost of reach | Content efficiency | Stable or falling |
| Share of qualified messages | Audience quality | Improving over time |
Mistakes that kill the plan
- Posting without a calendar, then going dark for two weeks.
- Designing every post from scratch without templates.
- Measuring success by follower count.
- Not connecting messages to a follow-up system.
- Changing the identity mid-way.
- Posting everything on every platform at the same size.
In short
The account is not a billboard but an enquiry channel. The difference is consistency, templates, and a system that follows up whoever messaged.
Ninety days is enough to learn which message works, which content brings a client, and whether the account deserves ad budget.
